I read a Clarence Page Op-Ed earlier today in the Chicago Tribune entitled “A Surprising Black Bump For Bush.” I have included a link below. (You will have to copy and paste the text into your browser.) Mr. Page found some polls that had 17% to 18% of African Americans voting for Bush.

don’t know one African-American that will be voting for Bush in 2004, but I suspect that there are certain southern and midwestern blacks that may support him.
