The L.A. Times reported that over the last six years, Justice Thomas has received free items valued at $42,200. The next highest gift amount was $5,825 to Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. Among his “gifts” were $1,200 for a set of tires, a $5,000 personal check for a relative’s educational expenses, and a trip [...]

CNN has announced that it will end it’s long running debate show “Crossfire.” In an effort to return to news reporting, Jonathan Klein, President of CNN, stated that the network wanted to focus on “roll-up-your-sleeves storytelling.” CNN’s focus on reporting the news is in contrast to Fox News which airs head-butting debate shows [...]
