Newsweek reported that the Pentagon is considering training and introducing Iraqi death squads to hunt, kill or capture insurgents. Last week, USA Today disclosed that black conservative commentator Armstrong Williams had been paid $240,000 by the White House to promote the No Child Left Behind, President Bush’s unfunded mandate to States. TVOne, the nation’s fastest growning black-owned television channel, has just announced that it will be carried on DirecTV, the nation’s fastest-growing satellite channel. Trapped inside by the constant rain in Southern California, I watched a lot of TVOne this weekend, and I found the programming fresh and exiciting.
