40 years ago, Daniel Patrick Moynihan issued his report The Negro Family: The Case for National Action, otherwise known as the Moynihan Report. His conclusion: the black family was collapsing. He detailed the rise of children born out of wedlock (at that time a fourth of black families were headed by women) and families stuck [...]
