How Stella Got A Gay Man
McMillan has been ordered to pay $2,000 a month in spousal support and $25,000 in attorney’s fees until the case is resolved. Plummer is seeking to have the prenuptial agreement set aside and McMillan is asking that the marriage be annulled. Plummer insists that he didn’t know of his homosexual yearnings when he met McMillan and that it occurred after moving to the states. (Oh my god! She turned him gay!)
In the meantime, McMillan has a new book coming out next month entitled “The Interruption Of Everything.” The book is about a married suburban woman’s unrest in her comfortable lifestyle.
The State Of . . . Terry McMillan’s life is not so comfortable now. Despite the good natured jesting above, it is sad her marriage had to end this way. Even reading the book, one had to know an element of Winston’s attraction to her was the ease in which he could become an American citizen. But besides that, when did he really know? People realize that they are gay at different ages. If he honestly told her when he realized, is he really a bad guy?
Whatever the case, I’m sure McMillan will follow this up with a real page turner.
