LifeAftertheOilCrash, a site dedicated to monitoring oil developments, predicts diar consequences for the United States and the rest of the world when oil supplies tighten. Far from alarmist, “LifeAfter” has been featured heavily in reputable magazines like FORTUNE.

TheStateOf. . .Oil production. Apparently, the latest round of price spikes was due to a lack of refining capability, not a shortage in supply. However, according to this and other sites, supply will become an issue as time goes on. My questions are these: is there any synthetic product we can use to replace oil? And when will Congress take this issue seriously?
