The family of the California woman killed last month in a freeway accident triggered by the singer Brandy has filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against the 28-year-old entertainer. California Highway Patrol officials have recommended the filing of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges against the R&B singer (full name: Brandy Norwood) in connection with the December 30 crash on the 405 Freeway.

I (rich) figured that community activists would be desperately searching for ways to cure this ill. So it only seems right that a local community activist should come to the aid of Brandy. Activist Najee Ali of Project Islamic Hope has come to the singer’s aid, saying she is being unfairly targeted by police due to her celebrity.
