One of the more lively discussions at Saturday’s Los Angeles TSO get-together was whether Barack Obama’s relatively light skin makes him a stronger candidate. Do you believe that a dark-skinned Barack Obama would be in the same position? I (J) said skin tone is “a” factor; Denmark Vesey says “hell no.”
