A vast array of pharmaceuticals _ including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones _ have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows.

The State Of . . . our weekly environmental scare. There was no evidence that Chicago’s drinking water had any of that stuff in it. Why? Because Chicago was not tested. Now that we know this, what do we do next? Switch to bottled water? Apparently, that ain’t safe either.
