Welcome to the new TSO! We thought it was time to re-energize the blog and add some more fun features. It’s been about 4 and-a-half years since we started this thing. (First entry here.) You’ll still find the same posts below and in the archives to the left. However, the comments didn’t carry over. At the top of the page you’ll find tabs for the TSO inside pages. On TSOtunes you’ll find music embeds and you can guess what you’ll find on TSOvid. We are holding off on the subscriptions right now but you can click on the RSS feed and get updates automatically. We actually got complaints on the subscription emails so it’s probably better we do without it for the moment.
You know how you guys in California get together with J and have your verbal orgies? Well J may be taking a recorder along with him the next time. Be on the look out for the TSOcast. That’s when we get our friends together (in Chicago and in LA) and talk about thangs that ain’t nobody else on the Net talkin’ ’bout! We’ll record it and put it on the blog for public consumption. Stay tuned!
The new banner was designed to reflect the art of TSO. To the right, we have an image of Christ the Redeemer from Rio that reflects our spirituality. In the middle, we have everyone’s hero, Barack Obama, and the Capitol Dome, which reflect our political discussions. To the left, we have an image from Ghana, which reflects the depth and sacred nature of our African heritage. And lastly, we have a gratuitous pic of the lovely Kerry Washington.
But for now, go ahead and kick the tires and tell us what you think about the new layout and the new banner.

Great new features. Glad you explained the banner cuz I didn’t get why ya’ll had, according to some TSOers, that “house negro” Colin Powell on the old one. Although I see Sen. Obama’s nuts are still on TSO’s chin….LOL
OK, Barry H. was in NC this week and the tix went fast. The crowds were HUGE and he got a helluva reaction to bringing home the troops in Fayett’nam (Fayetteville - home of Ft. Bragg and the 82nd Airborne and Special Ops unit). Never thought folks would support him like that in a RED state like NC. They come out like the Klan for Bushie though. The tide is changing I guess.

JD, if you visit Gravatar (gravatar.com), which is supposed to post the image you select anytime you post a comment, you should be able to have the image that you desire. Let’s see if it works for my e-mail address…….

FYI, the message regarding the new address back at the old location incorrectly states the new address.
