  1. Man, what a great speaker. If I lived in Chicago, I’d go to his church and I’m not even Christian. LOL!

  2. Yeah, Dina, He is the bomb for real. I have attended Trinity several times and even had the pleasure to hear Pastor Wright. Great service.

  3. TGN,

    Is he always that good?

  4. Each time I have heard him he was just that good! Now, I am sure he has had an off day like anyone else…

  5. I think those white ladies who were on that panel discussing this have proven themselves to be clueless. I can agree that slavery is in the past, but that doesn’t mean we neglect to mention that as a past injustice. Or at least a past injustice where America hasn’t lived up to its potential.

Check it out from this point. That dude on CNN has an agenda even more wicked the Fox.

By the way, check out Huckabee the day after Barack’s speach.

  8. Isn’t amusing how white people have reacted to a black man’s interpretation of the Bible. Slaveowners introduced the Bible to slaves as a form of control. And now, when the same Bible is used to speak out against their government, they get pissed.

What a country! What a people!

  9. It’s a sad day in society!
    By; Ms. Beauty Turner

When it comes to Black people (You) can not erase us off the face of the planet like we are black pencil marks, or delete us off of a computer chip with one punch of a key, for we are human beings, drenched with God’s life giving red blood, that flows like a river through our veins, just like yours.
Our tears are bitter sweet and salty just like yours, I weep not because I’m sad but because society is. I cry for my people!
It’s a sad day in society when we are planting more of our brown and black beautiful babies in the dirt than we do flowers!
It’s a sad day in Society when people walk pass a hungry, homeless child and not offer him a slice of bread.
It’s a sad day in society when Million dollars homes shoot up to the heavens in low income communities an erupt like fire works on the fourth of July and low income home are being dragged down like a statue of Sadam Hussein in the war in Iraq right here on American soil, leaving poor people barefoot and homeless in a land that once called it self the land of plenty.
How will we the American people erase these deep dark stains of an injustice that have taken over the twenty first century and corrupted the life lines of generations that is yet too come in the new millennium?
But yet we are living in an historic time when a Black man and a white woman is racing toward the highest seat in the land as candidates for the Presidency.
But yet when I look over the land as a Black woman I see that we have lost so much, “Brown VS Board of Education “ which once was a mile stone in the civil rights movement concerning the integration of the schools that we once though we had over come.
Now our Black babies are standing on the outside of the school doors looking in as they are being force out of many cities because of gentrification instead of an education which is now the new curriculums that the board of educations is trying to pass; testing us as a people; But God want let us fail!
He stood on the water banks and he walked us across the trouble red sea, and he camped out in the wilderness while it rained for forty days and forty nights,
The Savior gave us Moses who led us out of a forsaken land, The Savior gave us Noah in the time of rain, and he gave us Martin who led us to a brighter light in the Civil Rights Movement , he gave us Malcolm with words of wisdom and truth, but the most precious gift that he ever Gave was his one and only begotten son- Jesus Christ!
This darken stain that is set on the grains of eternal life can only be removed by accepting his son as the Holy spirit and his ways!
God have given you life and the chance to do what is right now it is up too you to grab a hold to his life line that he have put before you of drown in your selfishness and fall by the way side,
For God see and knows all!
