Tavis Quits!

Friends and Supporters:

By now, you may have heard of my departure from the Tom Joyner Morning Show.
I am traveling today and am not available to respond directly. I will address what you heard on the Tom Joyner Morning Show next Tuesday at 8:25 AM EST, during my normal commentary on the show.

The State Of . . . the Tavis-Obama beef. Remember a few months ago when Tavis was pissed that Obama wouldn’t attend his shindig down in New Orleans and felt that Michelle O. wasn’t good enough? If you do, you aren’t the only one. Apparently Tavis has been on Obama ever since on his shows and his listeners have been giving him hell about it. So he has quit the Tom Joyner morning show. He claims that he has too much other stuff going on. But who is he fooling?

    There is no denying that brother Tavis has a deep love for black people, but I’ve lost a tremendous amount of respect for him when he based his whole commentary on critcizing Barack Obama and turning a blind eye to the overt flaws, lies, and race baiting displayed by other candidates.

    Mr. Smiley’s mistake was believing that he spoke for all of BLACK AMERICA. It’s going to take some time, but these old style NEGRO Leaders are learning that there is a NEW sheriff in town, and he or she is neither puppet or victim, but instead very much his own!
