“Hillary Clinton quit?
You’d have a better chance getting Bill Clinton to shut up.
But the argument for Clinton to pull the plug on her campaign is not hard to make.
She trails Barack Obama in all categories. There are only 10 contests left, and most look to be tough for Clinton.
In fact, many Democrats think her odds of winning are so slim that all she’s doing is helping John McCain.”
TheStateOf . . . Penn. Most polls show Obama trailing be between 5 and 10 points, but does it matter if he wins or loses? Or by how much? Do you think that this long Dem race has made McCain the favorite in November? It seems like Hill will stay in no matter what and this tit-for-tat will continue on. So I’m trying to figure out why this is such a “big deal.”

It isn’t a big deal. She is in ’til the end. Nothing short of an absolute beat down in PA would make Hillary face reality and it looks like the PA race will end up close. She won’t close the gap without a miracle and is holding out hope that she will somehow be named the nominee after losing popular vote & pledged delegates.
Madness.
I don’t think the drawn out Democratic battle helps McCain that much since the damage is balanced out by keeping Obama’s fundraising folks charged.
That’s a good point about fundraising Maceo. And it’s good that this Rev. Wright crap came out in the primary. By the time the general rolls around, it will hopefully be completely old news - like McCain himself.
I think HC just wants to carve her place in history by staying in until the super D’s call it. She wants to make a statement in defeat rather than concede. Its selfish.
The question is will these primaries amount to anything in a red state vs blue state battle. How many red states will turn blue in Nov. either through defection, newly registered voters or repubs staying home. If McCain sticks with this 100yrs in Iraq stuff Obama should be in good shape late in the game.
What kills me is how the news pundits are talking about how Obama is in a dead hear in the polls with McCain. Who cares when November is 7 months away? Despite being proven wrong on several occasions this year, I can’t believe they still tout this stuff. Once Obama gets the nod, they’ll have about 3 debates where we have the old man standing next to the black JFK, and McCain’s polls numbers will drop. Nobody wants another year in Iraq, let alone 100.
What’s this about McCain physically attacking somebody?
Rich, McCain isn’t well. I read somewhere that he delayed releasing his medical records for another month. I wonder if the melanoma he had removed in 2000 has returned.
Hillary sit down!
Have you guys seen this video? Love, love, love Barack!

Niether Barack nor Hillary can close the deal.
As I said from the beginning, the person who will be the Democratic nominee has not even announced that they are running yet.
