Hip Hop and clothing mogul Russell Simmons’ “Do You!” is a great read for anyone considering a career change, particularly aspiring entrepreneurs. I’ve (J) never been a big fan of Russ, but this book is first-class. I relied on it heavily while weighing whether to start my own law firm.

  1. His book “Life and Def” is also an interesting read. Gives you an insider look at some thing and how the big boys play business.
