Obama Will Have More Superdelegates

You know how you sit in church (temple, mosque, etc.) and you listen to the preacher talk about how the battle has already been won and you just have to have faith that he’ll get you through? Well it’s been hard to have that type of faith this election season with the Obama campaign. They’ve had surprises and more than a few of their own gaffes. But the following news helps those who still worry about Obama’s eventual nomination.
Obama currently holds an 18-13 lead among committed superdelegates in the Senate, while Clinton holds a 77-74 lead in the House. Asked which way the committed-but-unannounced superdelegates are leaning, McCaskill — who has endorsed Obama — said: “James Brown would say, ‘I Feel Good.’”

Whether Obama or Clinton has the most superdelegates is irrelevant as niether will have the number necessary for victory.
A brokered convention with……waiting in the winds?
I like Claire McCaskill. She’s alright with me.
I like Claire too. For someone who was only elected in November of 2006 she has shown some stones in being one of the first senators to support Obama.
She is risking some serious alienation if Hillary wins and becomes president or if she loses the nomination and the Democrats give Hillary the Senate leadership position as a consolation prize.
Maybe Obama should consider her as his VP since Missouri is a swing state that the Democrats lost in 2004 and the Republicans must have to win in November.
