Hillary - “White People Want Me”

“I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on,” she said in an interview with USA TODAY. As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article “that found how Sen. Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.”

“There’s a pattern emerging here,” she said.

“Clinton’s blunt remarks about race came a day after primaries in Indiana and North Carolina dealt symbolic and mathematical blows to her White House ambitions.”

“Clinton rejected any idea that her emphasis on white voters could be interpreted as racially divisive. “These are the people you have to win if you’re a Democrat in sufficient numbers to actually win the election. Everybody knows that.”

TheStateOf. . .Clinton. Wow. Does this woman’s ego know no bounds? In any case, her logic is way off. There’s no evidence to suggest that “working class” white Democrats won’t support Obama.

    Not surprising at all if you know the Clintons. Their whole argument that he can’t win big states and whites won’t vote for him in the fall is totally off because it is premised on a circumstance that won’t exist in the fall. People will not be faced with two Democrats in the fall. He will be running against a wholly different candidate. But the Clinton’s are masters at revising history and performing magic before your eyes (see “is”).

    First Obama would have to be killed or quit.

    Then they would have to take Hillary away in a straightjacket and throw her in a tiny padded cell.

    Could you tell me why do you think either Obama’s voters or Hillary’s would support Gore?

    What do you think she’s holding out for? VP? If you were Barack, would you even consider her? I sure wouldn’t. You’d have a VP with a whole separate power base, and she’d be running for President for 8 years.

    No I don’t think her ego would allow her to settle for VP. Besides being distrusted by a lot of Independents ,Hillary as his VP would make it more difficult for African Americans to support Obama after all of the isht she has done to him.

    The reason that Hillary(and Bill) continue to campaign is that they realize that not only are they losing the nomination for president but they are losing their position as leaders of the Democratic Party and I think due to her divisive tactics she won’t have much support from the Establishment even if they find a way to steal the nomination. Stick a fork in them them-they are done
